New Release from Nan McFadyen

Edna and Richard were now getting a little old, their eye sight was not as good as it used to be, and so they wanted to retire. They had been making Teddy Bears for many years. They had almost completed their last Teddy, and decided to
give it to their grand daughter Hannah. Edna felt this last Teddy was very special, and she decided to call him Thomas.

This was the beginning of a very exciting life for Thomas, from his first night sleeping in Hannah and James' bedroom, to being left behind in a Tea Shop, and spending the night in a smelly cupboard, by mistake of course.

The stories in this little book are all true events that happened to our children, and know that most parents with children of their own, will have lots of stories, happy, sad, funny, that they can also remember when their children were young and growing up.

I hope the little tales will bring a smile to your face and help you to remember some of your own personal family stories.

New Release from April Vider

Is the Bible relevant? Of course it is. It is the story of God's redemptive love for mankind, but is it relevant to me and the particular circumstances of my life? In Speed Bumps on the Way to Heaven, I relive my own life-changing transformational stories and then put the Bible to the test. Does it have value? Yes! Is it relevant? Yes! Each chapter, each speed bump, proves that it is.
Stories of all types are found within the pages of the Bible. Marvelous, wonderful stories are there. Terrible, frightening stories as well. Many are well-loved and well-known, but many are overlooked and barely known. Do the names Tamar, Amnon, and Absalom ring any bells? Their story, for example, causes their three lives and the lives of their entire nation to irrevocably and drastically change. Few today know the story, yet it is profoundly relevant to far too many of us.
Join me as I survey the Bible for its parallels between my life and its characters and themes. Stories from my childhood include, but are not limited to, those relating to mother-daughter conflicts, guilt, early failure, and young marriage. Stories from adulthood include those, for example, relating to poor health, my mother's suicide, and aging parents. They are my own Speed Bumps on the Way to Heaven.
I found myself in the pages of the Bible. Will you find yourself there?

New Release - On Mission

Though Elsie Reyes Cook has traveled throughout Asia as a missionary, served as a high-profile executive at CBN Asia, while also being sought-after church speaker and counselor-her early beginnings hardly promised such a life of ministry. As a painfully shy, awkward and insecure girl growing up in a humble Philippines provincial household, Elsie often preferred to remain quietly in the shadows. But upon becoming born again, she gradually acquired a boldness that surprised even her. Guided by Romans 8:28 as a life verse, Elsie has experienced amazing "highs" (success in ministry and academia) as well as "lows" (attacks from co-workers and physical attacks while in India). Still, her story is a testimony to the fact that God is sovereign and through it "all" is able work "all" things for good.

New Release from Vic DiMartino

Arturo DiMartino’s Italy is in ruins at the end of WWI.
Its politics splintered. Its economy tattered. Its social fabric shredded.

Italians blame their weak leaders and demand their overthrow. Mussolini steps onto the political stage and his populist views and spirited charisma captivate the country. Arturo joins Mussolini’s political campaign and begins a long political career under the Fascist Regime. Rewarded for his loyalty and political instinct, the National Fascist Party appoints him to the most powerful office in Sicily’s Trapani Province.
But, when Il Duce tries to expand Italy's influence through military force, Arturo pushes back. His resistance starts a series of perilous events. The Blackshirts, Mussolini’s enforcers, issue an ultimatum—leave Italy or die.
Three generations of the family face one crisis after another. From life-threatening and near-death experiences to unwavering love and humorous episodes, Escapes is an insight into the tenacity and resilience of the human spirit. Based on a true story, it also exposes little-known facts about Italy's role in ending WWI and why the Great War’s aftermath led Italy to side with Germany in WWII.

“Escapes is so interesting I forgot I was proofreading and kept on reading! Unable to talk with my deceased Italian grandparents, the adventures of Arturo and his family will have to fill in the blanks.”—Gilda Vincent

New Release from Don Osborne

It happened on May 1, 2011 on Sunday afternoon with about seventy-five friends, former kickers and families of former kickers, coaches, my family, and other friends from the church and community. The Thomasville Athletic Boosters Club, the Thomasville Athletic Department and others from the community had made the arrangements. They had raised enough money to replace the old original post and add one at the other end of the field. This field is not only used for football practice and track and field, but soccer is also played there. It is probably one of the best facilities of its kind around. This facility was named “The Allen Brown Athletic Complex” in honor of retired football coach Allen Brown. So having the goal posts dedicated to me on that Sunday afternoon was a great honor.
There were several speakers who said some very complimentary things, pointing out the two beautiful new goal posts that were being dedicated to me. Then my attention was called to a plaque that was placed on the wall of the Allen Brown athletic Complex.
I was overwhelmed by all the wonderful things said and the honor I received. I was also amazed at the number of friends who were there to share this moment with me. I really didn’t think I deserved this much adulation. As I told them, I have enjoyed it so much because of all the rewards received in seeing these young men progress and become successful in their journey through life.

New Release - Happy Endings and a New Beginning

What does help look like to a four year old little boy who is sexually assaulted? Isn't life supposed to be about playing, running, and giggling? What happens to that little one who suddenly has to deal with adult sexual issues because he has just become sexualized by a predator? It's an unspeakable act; so, just who is he supposed to confide in? He doesn't really understand what happened let alone explain it. His life was changed forever.
This is how the mess of a life begins and what a mess it became. The author shares snippets of his life as he tried to sort his feelings. He believes that God gives people free will to choose the path they travel. Inside Michael Black's heart, he believes every choice he made led him to the next choice which shaped him into the man he is today. Many of the choices he made left him in conflict, but every day he chose to live and heal. He shares how being without a male role model may have affected his life, as well how being sexually violated a multitude of times may have been the core reason he began a fourteen year love affair with illicit drugs. He stumbled into the darkness that comes with those drugs.
Starring in his own true and heartbreaking drama, the author shares his journey through highlights of his life. He had crushing moments that should have taken his life and life-changing moments in his talks with God. He shares how his faith kept coming back to him, ultimately allowing him to rise above and press on. There is no regret for Michael as the darker the night, the lighter daybreak is.

New Release from Leonard Watkins

Living a life of sin for many years had me in bondage. I was a slave to sin. I was living my life a lie, wanting to find the truth. I have fought the demon for many years. To defeat the demon, you’ve got to find out what demons fear. See, the devil and his demons like to plant fear in you and feed off it. If you don’t give them no fear to eat, they will soon get weak and die. You can’t play around with Satan and his evil army, because they are not playing. If they are not playing, well, neither am I.
I fear nobody but God. It wasn’t until I gave my life to Jesus Christ that I began to feel free. You see, at the shout of the name “Jesus,” we know the demons tremble. I am no longer a friend of this evil world; I am a friend of God’s. I am protected, guided, and comforted. I feel like a bird that has been let out of the cage I’ve been in for years. And these wings that God gave me were meant to fly.
I will now soar all the way to my destiny, feeling like a free bird, thanks to my Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ! Amen! Jesus is the Truth and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through the Son. And Jesus is the Son of God. He rose from the dead after three days with all power in his hands. God is in control.
So if you want true freedom, try Jesus. He’s all right.
