Author Christa Erario's New Release

This is a book of instruction and insights by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit on how to live victoriously in these end-times and gives a small glimpse of what is going to happen before Jesus’s second coming. It is also a plea from our Heavenly Father’s merciful heart to save all peoples from hell and damnation.

This is my word to my people: that they may hear and know how to live according to my word, the Bible, and know that I will be with them through all that is to come before my second coming, which is going to happen soon. How to live and act in expectation of my kingdom, which is coming down to earth more and more. My will for my people is this: that they live in me and act according to the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit and in acceptance of my great gift to all peoples, my Son, Jesus Christ. This is my plea to all peoples for their salvation: Accept my great and oh so costly gift, my Son, Jesus Christ, before it is too late. I want no one lost. Time is short. Believe and come to us. The choice is yours.

New Release from Covenant Author, Al Gyllenhammer

The title S’WORDS is what the author refers to as a variable title. Since beauty is in the mind of the beholder, each reader gets to describe the book as it touches them from their own perspective by giving them the choice and some voice in the title. The S just might be: shallow (words), sardonic, silly, sarcastic, super, sensible, soul-touching, sacred . . . or whatever. S’WORDS is also a play on words. E.g., the Word of God is like a double-edged sword. Word and sword go hand in hand as to what the author wants to say. The author hopes to lead people to God’s most holy Word, and he hopes to be as his own doubled-edged sword.

New Release from Author, Linda P. Woodward

Raising a child with autism is like living a scavenger hunt where once you collect all of the necessary pieces on the list, that list completely changes. Finding Leigha’s Voice will put you right in the heart of
raising Leigha, my twenty-seven-year-old autistic daughter who recently stopped talking. The ride is full of ups and downs, zigs and zags, and quite a few miracles along the way. Somewhere in the middle of this winding road, I realized that Leigha was also raising me—to a totally new
perspective, a totally new way of loving, and a totally new way of listening: by heart. From keeping my eyes and ears searching for God (“God, Are You Listening?”) to holding on to a sense of humor (“Please Don’t Be a Restraining Order”), I find that there is one constant, clear truth: We are not alone. We have never been alone. We will never be alone. There is always hope because there is always God.

New Release from Author Marylee Jackson

Keely Marie McLaughlin felt there was a secret surrounding her birth. She was keeping a secret from her momma, and she’d told a whopper of a lie, too. She was also about to have the encounter of her lifetime.
Keely’s story unfolds in the summertime of 1929 in Southern Illinois, in the tiny rural town of Dupo. Her father works for the railroad, and her mother runs a small café and confectionary. Keely is the oldest child of four, all born into a loving, hardworking Irish family. The Great Depression is looming, which is guaranteed to make their lives worse, but they make the best of bad situations by calling on their love for one another, their faith, and their many skills to overcome what they’ll need to survive. Although the family lives in poverty, they have a rich life knowing they are blessed no matter their hardships.
Keely has also recently bloomed from a child mature beyond her years into a colorful young woman who unexpectedly meets a handsome, naive boy from the city when he enters the café.
The young man, William Benjamin O’Malley, finds sanctuary among the McLaughlins. Keely and Will cannot deny their immediate attraction to one another, which is obvious to all. Her father deems Keely and Will’s young love forbidden. An act of Will’s tenderness toward her family cements Keely’s love for him, which also turns her father’s fears and dislike for Will into admiration and acceptance. He ulitmately approves of Keely’s relationship with Will, especially since it was revealed that Will too, has a secret of his own, which will take him far away from Keely.
Each time Will leaves Keely to travel home to St. Louis, he promises that he will come back to her. Keely in return, promises she'll wait for him without question. Full of love and coupled with unfulfilled desires as teenagers when they bid each other their final farewells; they vow to reunite one day. Years later, Will surprises Keely with a visit. The sparks continue to fly between them. Their ensuing love story will come at a huge price that neither of them could have ever imagined. Their adult love story continues in the upcoming sequel, Following Seas.

New Release from Author Kenneth Myambo

The book recounts my struggles and suffering under colonial oppression in Southern Africa (Rhodesia). It exposes a vicious cycle of racial hatred perpetrated against black people by white supremacists on my homeland and abroad. I was discriminated and deprived of individual rights because of the color of my skin. In education, I was segregated and confronted with conflicting irreconcilable cultural and social values from the West. I was denied equal justice and access to education with restricted freedoms to choose where to live, assemble, or who to marry and associate with. Through a series of unfortunate political events and circumstances, I took up arms and fought for freedom in my homeland. I was imprisoned and persecuted for sedition and was accused of political treason without due process. During this period, I found sanctuary in my American and Canadian teachers, who catapulted me to study science at American universities in California. Even then, I continued to suffer the horrors of racism implicitly imbedded in white America. Remarkably, I would also find love and support across racial lines, and I was blessed with two beautiful biracial children born in America. With the passage of time, I came to terms with my difficult past and began to heal from the indelible wounds of racism. With renewed hope for freedom in America, I harnessed the healing power of love and forgiveness across racial barriers. Sadly, my dreams were unpredictably shattered by the death of my twenty-seven-year-old daughter in an auto accident, leading me to question the meaning and purpose of life on this cosmic journey of existence.

New Release from Covenant Author, Ken Willingham

Many times, we talk about the good ole days but seldom can pinpoint just what and why they were. The stories and tales I have written straight from memory goes back to my childhood, beginning at age two, and proceeds through my sixteenth year. I promise you there is absolutely no fiction in these stories. Life on the farm was lived day by day, and nowhere in the universe could you be closer to God. You had to have complete faith, but at the same time, you had to believe in your mother and father as being your leaders, teachers, and protectors. This came about from being lucky enough to be born and raised as a country kid. Born the middle child of sharecropper parents, we lived in rental houses, many of which were close to a hundred years old. Most had no insulation; floors had cracks you could see light through and had single-pane windows that gave little or no protection against the cold. But in all cases, they were where we called home. The sound of wood snapping and popping in the cast iron stove let you know that you were safe and would remain warm throughout the many years and winters that were to come and many that had gone. My parents worked day and night to meet the needs of three children, and all our needs were met without compromise. It was our wants that made us become self-sufficient but never our needs. We did not have electricity in our farmhouse until I was almost twelve years old, so evenings were spent with family in front of a kerosene lamp, and going to bed early was the order of the day. The kids played outdoors the entire day when winter cold and summer heat was a part of our lives. We had chores to do, and working in the garden was expected as part of our entertainment. I cannot imagine how my life could have been any more perfect or my outlook on tomorrow could have been any stronger if I had been born and raised anywhere other than with my parents on the family farm.

New Release from Aristeo and Pamela Arroyo

This book takes the reader and child on a journey from the very beginning of His story to His victorious resurrection from the dead. In this way though pictures and rhymes, the child can get to know God, His values, likes and dislikes. It is a glimpse into Bible heroes who prevailed over evil and others who tasted defeat and the lessons to be learned from their examples.

A child will marvel at His heroes that are far more amazing, courageous, and colorful than any that pop culture can offer; moreover, these were actual people, not characters invented from a comic book (e.g., Spider Man) or from a cartoon (e.g., Woody and Buzz Lightyear). This is not a book of fantasy, but of truths that are imparted in God’s story via values rooted in reality whose message transformed lives then, and still today.

New Release from Williams A.O.

This book was conceived as a satirical piece intended for teenagers as a means of teaching morals, ethics, dignity in labor, and social etiquette. It began as short essays written by the author as light humor for publication in a church house journal from the year 2007 to 2010 and was subsequently arranged with additional written pieces to make a collection of tidbits as seen presently.
Each paragraph seeks to teach a lesson on social conduct or decency in demeanor. The animal subjects are depicted as social characters each having a peculiar behavior or social character of its own. The lessons espoused in the paragraphs are various. A critique, a commendation, or an observation that seeks to highlight a pattern of behavior not uncommon to human society.
Sub-themes such as unfriendliness, deviance, diligence, chivalry, kindness, quietness, and peacefulness are exaggerated deliberately for emphasis to reinforce the lessons and messages desired in the book.
A short quiz at the end of the book seeks to encourage reflective thinking on the few pages of this book to refresh the reader of the funny animal characters most of whom have funny four-letter names, the exception being Ernee the Ostrich, as you may guess rightly, ostriches are uncommon birds and do have a long name O-s-t-r-i-c-h; I could not think of a short name for Ernee. Hope you enjoy reading the paragraphs as much as I have enjoyed putting them together as a first-time public author.

Medicine, Money, and Malice is a New Release from Edna Carpenter

Holding a person hostage does not always require a gun or knife or another weapon. When a doctor uses his knowledge and position in advancement of his financial status, the patient can become the victim of greed, and a hostage to manipulation. Is there something that triggers this shift from a person who takes an oath to do "no harm" to one whose greed is so consuming that his patients are permanently harmed with no remorse on the part of the provider? What caused Dr. Follé to utilize his position to hurt so many and leave a path of devastation in his wake? What happened to those patients and to the staff who were left behind to deal with the aftermath is an extraordinary journey that no one should have to take.
There were signs, there were complaints, but no one listened until it was too late for so many. All those people saying, when told about the problems, "that only happens on TV or in the movies, it would never happen here! You must be exaggerating the situation!" Well, it did happen there! Looking back there were signs, there were reasons that these things happened, and there were lessons that could be learned from the extraordinary journey to prevent such a situation from ever happening again. But did they learn?

New Release from Covenant Authors Michael K. Abel and Brent J. Schmidt

Ongoing debates about gay marriage, abortion, religious freedom, and many other issues remind us that a culture war is now being waged over what it means to be moral in America, calling into question biblical ideals that have shaped American society for hundreds of years.

Some claim that the moral traditions of the past are oppressive and outdated while others believe they are the only hope to save a morally declining nation. It is in this context that the question motivating this book emerged: To what extent do Americans keep the Ten Commandments, sometimes called the Decalogue? How prevalent in America are adultery, dishonesty, theft, murder, coveting, and other behaviors prohibited in Judeo-Christian tradition? How much do Americans really focus on God, honor their parents, and keep the Sabbath Day holy?

This book explores the historical context and meaning of each commandment in order to compare ancient understandings of right and wrong to those of modern America and then examines its compliance. Analysis of adherence to each of the Ten Commandments, using data collected from tens of thousands of Americans, paints an engaging picture of their commitment to the morals of the Decalogue.
In contrast to most books exploring moral issues, this one does not tell readers what to think about the evidence. Rather, it encourages them to carefully consider the information and come to their own conclusions about the moral virtue or depravity of US society. Readers may use the evidence found in this book to satisfy curiosity, settle bets, shape public policy, create sermons, stimulate conversation, or, even better, to understand human nature. They will come away equipped with knowledge that will encourage self-reflection and increased understanding of twenty-first century American morality.

Jay Santiago's New Book, Jesus Short Stories!

Jesus Short Stories is my own effort to shed light on Jesus's parables. As someone who is a regular churchgoer and has spent countless hours studying the Bible, particularly the words of Jesus, it has always perplexed me that seldom do you ever find anyone trying to uncover the hidden meaning behind Jesus's parables. If you spend time reading the gospels, that is exactly what happened in Jesus's time as well. A few years ago, I began seeing Jesus's parables in a new light.
First and foremost, these Jesus Short Stories are Christian fiction. I want to stress that they are indeed fiction. However, they are presented in a way that will help the reader to also gain insight on the hidden nature of Jesus's parables. Throughout this book, there is one rule that I have regarding the words of Jesus . . . under no circumstances ever, do I put words in the mouth of Jesus. But that said, I have found clever ways of shedding light on the hidden mysteries.
On a side note, the very first short story is my sincerest effort to reconstruct the lost gospel.

New Release from Author Mary M. Murray

After being married most of her life, Mary never thought about writing a book entitled Single: With Hindsight to Help Other Single Sisters. It brought to surface not only her dating experience, because it's not an isolated one, but also those whom she has spoken with who have gone through similar situations. If you have been a Christian for a period of time, your life and lifestyle have changed by the power of God and you don't respond to situations as you used to. Most of the time, it's for the better. You become more loving, trusting, faithful, and compassionate. Hopefully, you'll have more wisdom to use it and receive this information as an eye-opener. Then it can become fruitful and beneficial for the body of Christ. And the world will be a better place when we all live for others and not just for ourselves.
I'm sorry to say that being found by a good, decent Christian man with values, who is a doer of the Word of God and not a hearer only, isn't easy, but they are out there. If you find yourself in one or more of the predicaments mentioned, pay attention. Your test may be a testimony to others.
To God be the glory for the great things He has done for me.
