God Made You Special - New Release

This was given to my daughter when she was in elementary school as a letter to carry with her each day to remind her that God made her special. My daughter was faced with adversity that others often see as a behavior issue; but I knew it was much more than that. I prayed to God and asked him to help and guide me so she could get on the right track, and he helped me with this letter that now has turned into a book. Kids go through so much beginning at a young age, and peer pressure is rapid as they go through different phases of life. Kids are unhappy with themselves, or a part of their body, whether it’s their teeth, nose, ears, body, or hair. When God makes something, he doesn’t make any mistakes; he makes each and every one with their own unique design. It’s important for our kids to know that no matter how they look, they must remember that “God made me special.”

New Release from James Redman

While it may not normally be the case, once in a great while, the pieces of a puzzle seem to fall into place with astonishing ease. The exceptional set of circumstances that occurred during a six-month period in 1998, beginning with a “discovery” trip to St. Edward, Nebraska, to finding a distant relative that happened to be a history professor and family history expert provide the core journey for Redman’s Ancestral Quest. The story is also filled with family reminiscences and anecdotes, providing short humorous diversions along the trail of the quest to learn more about the Redman ancestors.

New Release from Rick Larnerd

As parents, nearly all mothers and fathers form a bond with their offspring at the moment of birth. As we parents know, children do not come with instructions, however. The business of raising them to become productive members of society is a roller-coaster of ups and downs. This series of trials and errors helps to define and solidify the parental bond. When that bond is severed by loss, the ensuing chaos sends a grieving parent into a tailspin. When that loss is unexpected and there is no time to prepare, the grief can be particularly debilitating. Parents are not supposed to outlive their children.
Just as children do not come with instructions for their raising, there are no instructions for how to deal with the grief which consumes us when we lose one. How can one survive the crippling effects of this tragedy? The enormity of that tragedy is compounded when more than one child is unexpectedly lost. As you read my story of the loss of two of my three children, I hope this survivor’s perspective will help to shed light on a very complex and personally-unique emotion and serve as an inspiration for others experiencing the same grief.
With belief in God, the love of family, support of friends, compassion from strangers, and the passage of time, it truly is possible to overcome the debilitating effects of grief.

Daniel has something to write about, and Brian finds like-minded men who feel like the first real family he’s ever had.

This book was written to comfort the lonely souls who are facing fears from those they love. This book teaches us to act with caution and be compassionate when it comes to emotional situations.

New Release from Wayland Corgill

Ruben and Lillian (Martin) Corgill were my parents. Ruben was born in 1890. Lillian was born in 1898. Their lives spanned a time period from "horse and buggy" days to the jet age and space exploration. However, the way they lived didn't change very much as the modern world was evolving around them. Throughout their productive years, they stuck to the old ways of surviving by being self-sufficient in a rural, agricultural environment. Their roots had not prepared them for "getting by" in other ways. Even in the 1950s, they were still manually doing farm work when machines had replaced people and horses all around them. So many times, one day ended with no clear conviction that the next one wouldn't bring problems beyond their capabilities. How they managed to survive from day to day and year to year on the meager fruits of their labors and raise a family in the process is an outstanding example in human integrity and industry. They survived, though, and held their heads high to the end. Theirs is a story worth telling.

New Release from Diane Moussalli

After spending six months researching several major religions of the world and feeling more confused than ever, Diane decided to write a letter to The Creator of The Universe and the Jesus she was told about since childhood.

Dear God,
If you are the one true God and Jesus is Your Son, and He really died for my sins on The Cross and rose again on the third day…if You are real and not a fable or fairy tale, and if it’s any of my business, would You please reveal Yourself to me?
Sincerely, Diane

Three weeks later, Jesus did just that. He appeared at the foot of her bed and revealed His nail-scarred wrists and His overwhelming love for her. This revelation changed Diane’s life and her journey with Jesus began.

Literary WaterColors best describes this book of devotions. Travel in your imagination with Diane; may the pictures painted with words reveal The Truth in your life.
