New Release from Frank J. Cunningham

The Bible has always been the perfect example of a completed story. However, our history books in the United States have always been incomplete for the African Americans. Why? Because in the beginning days of Negroes (as they were called in those days), they were considered nothing but property. They had no history or voice, therefore were not felt to be important by the writers of history. So the Afro-American history was omitted and passed over.

This book explores the omitted African American history through a fictional character, the Unknown Voice. Our journey unveils spectacular creations, amazing acts, outstanding accomplishments, disturbing acts, catastrophic events, and the advancement of a culture. We will give an ear to the unknown voice destined to be heard.

New Release from Barry L. Nehls

Jesus clarified the requirements of every believer. He simply said, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" (Matt. 16:24). Sounds simple enough...until you begin to break it down.

In today's affluent society, most are not accustomed to denying themselves anything, even if they don't have the means to pay for it. Personal responsibility is at an all-time low. When tragedy strikes, we look for someone or something to blame. Certainly not my fault.

Jesus requires us to take up a cross. Well, that's easy enough...gold, silver, or platinum? But don't forget the cross is not jewelry to be worn; on the contrary, it is an instrument of death. Our death.

Have an addiction that you are struggling with? Perhaps you have concluded that God made you to live as a homosexual. God's fault there. And that alcohol or drug addiction, well, it's a disease. Not my fault there either.

So open the pages and take a look. Dare you. The hard truth for all is that the Bible, God's Word, is a mirror. You and I must see ourselves, in light of His Scriptures, as He sees us. But read on. The Bible contains all the power and tools you and I need to obey Jesus' command. So take up your cross and follow Him!

New Release from Larry Barthurst

The trial of the Nazi war criminals, which took place in Nuremberg, Germany, from November 1945 through October 1946 is perhaps the quintessential story of good versus evil. These twenty-two men authored some of the most shameful, depraved acts in the annals of human history; but now, shorn of their brief authority, they would be given something that they never afforded millions of their victims-a fair trial.

Restarting Genesis; A Covenant View of Creation - New Release

Does the Bible seem difficult to understand? Have you switched to a modern translation to make it easier? Literary devices such as hyperbole and apocalyptic language appear frequently and may limit our understanding more than the translation. Most of the Bible is expressed in terms of covenant, an important concept that is also not well understood and which is seldom explained by our churches. If we fail to understand such concepts, we will be unlikely to fully appreciate the entire Bible.

Those who would applaud our difficulty and would like to dismantle our belief system entirely may have attempted to discredit early Genesis more than any other portion of scripture. If Genesis 1:1 is not true, where does that leave the rest of the Bible? Did Jesus actually die for my sins? Is God, himself, a myth? If apparent conflicts go unresolved, it becomes easier to question the relevance of the entire Bible. The resolution of much of the difficulty lies in gaining an understanding of covenant creation.

If you have ever thought that the Bible is full of errors, think again. It was not written to people in the culture of the 21st century western world. It was written to a people who lived 2,000 or more years ago in a culture which had a different way of thinking, of using words, and even numbers. I hope to show that the Bible is highly accurate and relevant for today’s reader. To understand it the way the original hearers would have, we must get inside the mind of the ancient near easterner. This book attempts to bring the Bible into focus for today. It is not necessary to change its teaching or to alter doctrine. However, gaining an understanding for today requires a new way of looking at it. I hope to make that possible for you, today’s 21st century western reader.

New Release from Ralph Brown

When humanity questions the purpose of existence, they often turn to science or religion for answers. Unfortunately, both science and religion contain inconsistencies. These inconsistencies touch the human spirit in the most profound ways, resulting in an uneasiness about life.

"Do I really have a purpose?"

Seeking to address the spiritual unease, the history of humanity documents the development and pursuit of religion with a concept of a divine creator with a plan for humanity. However, in more recent history with an increasing emphasis on scientific knowledge, the concept of a divine creator is increasingly discounted as inconsistent with the material world revealed by scientific discovery. Via the scientific method, humanity is turning its focus to the material world, creating new gods of science and the purveyors of scientific knowledge.

But rather than provide definitive answers, as science continues to advance, the theories of creation point increasingly to inconclusive and inconsistent results. These shortcomings of science are often veiled in the expression "Someday, we will know," but many in the scientific community are beginning to question that hope. With science and religion each plagued with inconsistency, perhaps appropriately integrating them will lead us to the real answers we seek!

The Model of Everything-A Divine Universe relies on both scientific and biblical knowledge to fully integrate science and religion in a consistent, complementary, and interdependent fashion. This confluence and synergy of knowledge reveal a comprehensive model that accounts for the totality of human existence-the physical and spiritual. The reader, via personal and straightforward experiments, participates in developing the model. Biblical knowledge is the pointer for a unique application of scientific knowledge. Then, the incredible and sometimes bizarre world of science reveals how God teaches us about our existence and spirituality.

The integration of scientific and biblical knowledge results in several new mental constructs, providing an account for the totality of creation-the material and immaterial-and a genuine hope and understanding of personal existence. The model presents some eye-popping implications and applications as well as predictions on future scientific progress and outcomes. Each reader is invited and encouraged to become a scientist; a scientist prepared to chart a life-changing personal discovery.

New Release from Walter Glover, MTS

The mountains are calling and I must go.

-John Muir

Another in his series of exciting mountaineering stories, senior citizen adventure author Walter Glover continues his quest to climb the world's famed Seven Summit mountains. After reaching Mount Everest base camp, the summits of Kilimanjaro, and the highest peaks in Russia and Australia, the popular series turns to South America. Mount Aconcagua is the highest mountain in the southern hemisphere, its peak reaching 22,000 feet. The expedition is marked by camaraderie and peril. Walter then turns his climbing boots homeward to Mount Rainier to prepare for the Seven's final two peaks. A fall and the discovery of three aneurysms, one which required open-heart surgery, sidelined him-temporarily.

A retired hospital chaplain, reviewers frequently remark that the centerpieces of Walter's books are spirituality and inspiration. Walter's altruistic aim was to raise money with his climbs for children's wellness initiatives-$140,000 to date.

Now more than going high, he goes long trekking the pilgrimage across Spain the Way of St. James, El Camino, and across England. In February 2019, he and friend Nancy Conner and his cousin Pilar French trekked, kayaked, and bicycled across South American Patagonia near Cape Horn.

Book III contains vivid accounts of tumultuous weather, making friends, and unexpected challenges. Walter writes with the warmth of a real person and includes his spiritual journey as well as the physical challenges of high-altitude mountaineering at age 64. His stories are told with a healthy dose of self-deprecating humor as well as with prayers and psalms.

Then, Let Him Speak - New Release

Then, Let Him Speak is a book of poetry, short stories, and artwork produced throughout the high school years and on through the young adult and early career years of Mr. Dantzler. It reflects his years as one of six children of a single mother who was determined to care for and see her children's lives to adulthood. Living in the Washington DC area (The DMV), and spending impactful summers and a few early school years with his Aunt and Uncle Reese in Goose Creek, SC. He walked the streets many days and nights, learning from what he saw and heard and felt-people struggling to survive with little to no provisions, hustling one another, working hard on nine-to-five jobs that paid very little, and young black kids scrambling to escape the hands of either the jump-out boys or the stick-up boys. Yet, Then, Let Him Speak also reflects the love he longed for, the pain of rejection, and sentiments of a young loner who often asked the existential questions of his life. His hope is that you will enjoy this project and that it may also enlighten and inspire you within the fulfillment of your purpose and direction of hope, freedom, and the salvation of life.
