God is the only perfect parent; it is appropriate that we should choose him as our mentor in parenting. A lot of the behaviors that irritate us in our child, God has experienced with us--tantrums, questioning, disobedience, defiance, crying, and begging. He has experienced them all with us and still calls us his children.
