Romans 12:10-13 admonishes us to "be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."
People are hurting, discouraged, brokenhearted, anxious, poor, fearful, without hope. As believers, we should be a reflection of Jesus in attending to their critical needs. Selflessness results in helping others, encouraging others, abundantly loving others, and fervently praying for others.
