The years are 1963-2020. This is a story about the evolution of a young sailor who, after being tortured and abused as a captive in Vietnam, found the Lord after losing everything he loved. He came home and carried on with his life and tried to leave behind the traumatic time he spent in Vietnam. He coped by looking toward the real reason his life was spared-a caring and loving God, ending 2020 serving in a local church, teaching Sunday school and a home Bible study.
