Lady Eloise and Friends - New Release

Lady Eloise and Friends is a series of books for children from third to sixth grade (and advanced readers in second grade). From this series comes another series for younger children in preschool through second grade called Adventures With Little Eloise.

This first book in the series teaches about friendship and forgiveness, social skills, bullying, and conflict resolution. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are developed as the students make predictions, build vocabulary, develop reading comprehension, and practice new vocabulary as they write in their journals along with the story.

Through the voices and antics of the characters, we hope our young readers will learn to see the world with awareness, sensitivity, compassion, and empathy. We hope to help children see each other with love and with respect for their differences and not with fear.

The second book in the series teaches about multiculturalism, diversity and inclusion, tolerance and acceptance, and also teaches more about conflict resolution when dealing with bullies.

The third book in the series introduces humans into the story and is based on real-life experiences of Vicki with her childhood, lifelong best friend, Shirlee, and their horses. They were the little girls who could be seen riding their horses while standing up, riding backward, sideways, and any other way they could think of. This series of stories begins with their real-life horses, Lady Eloise and El Zo Beyni and includes other horses their families had over time.
